The Learning Commons draws together a variety of services to create a one-stop shop for students in Allegheny's Pelletier library. Peer consultants assist students with writing, public speaking, study skills, effective use of technology, and study in academic areas including mathematics, natural sciences, social sciences, and foreign languages. Our professional staff arrange accommodations for students with disabilities; consult with students on study skills such as time management, effective reading, and test taking; coordinate new student orientation; and support the academic advising program. Comments, questions, and suggestions for the Learning Commons are welcome and should be sent to Richard Holmgren, the Director of the Learning Commons, at richard.holmgren@allegheny.edu.
